WASHINGTON – Today, the United States Senate passed the ALS Disability Insurance Access Act, a companion bill to Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) legislation, H.R. 1407. The bill would eliminate the five-month waiting period before ALS patients can receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits.
