WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) and Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) announced that the Senate passed the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that included the Brandon Act, legislation named in honor of fallen United States Navy Petty Officer Third Class Brandon Caserta. The bill is now headed to President Biden’s desk.

SALEM, Mass. – Today, Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced that the Senate passed the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, legislation that authorizes the federal government to spend money on the nation’s defense. The bill includes a number of locally-important measures Moulton has championed as a member of the House Armed Services Committee.

The bill is headed to President Biden’s desk.

WASHINGTON — Following oral arguments in the Supreme Court involving the Mississippi law that prohibits abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, Representative Seth Moulton released the following statement: 

“For nearly half a century, we’ve counted on the Supreme Court to preserve a woman’s Constitutional right to make her own health care decisions. After this week’s oral arguments, it's become increasingly clear that this may no longer be the reality. Abortion rights are more in danger now than they’ve been in a generation.

WASHINGTON — Following the verdict in the murder trial of Ahmaud Arbery, Representative Seth Moulton released the following statement: 

“Today’s verdict isn’t justice—it’s accountability. 

True justice would mean that Ahmaud Arbery was never hunted down and murdered in cold blood to begin with. It would look like him being alive to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family.
