Salem, Mass. — Today, Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced that he successfully amended the House of Representatives' version of legislation that will fund the government next year to include $16.9 million for research to help scientists, commercial fishermen and conservation groups better protect the critically-endangered North Atlantic right whale.

Moulton voted for H.R. 3985, the ALLIES Act, legislation to protect Afghan interpreters, contractors, security personnel and other partners who face deadly retribution by the Taliban for their work with the United States government.
