Vote Explanation - H.R. 734 (Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023, voted on April 20, 2023)
SALEM, MA – Congressman Moulton has submitted funding requests for 15 Community Improvement Projects across the Sixth District, totaling over $23.2 million for critical local projects up and down the North Shore. The funding requests were submitted to the House Committee on Appropriations for consideration and inclusion in the federal budget.

Moulton attended in his capacity as a member of the new House Select Committee on China. H.R. 347, The REIN IN Act
On Wednesday, March 1st, the House voted on HR 347. This bill would require undue effort from the President on executive branch actions with an economic impact greater than $1 million. This includes mandating presidential statements estimating the inflationary impact on executive orders of that magnitude.

Salem, MA – Congressman Seth Moulton and Senator Edward J. Markey are introducing legislation that would redesignate the Salem Maritime National Historic Site as the Salem Maritime National Historical Park.
Salem Maritime was established in 1938 as the first National Historic Site to be included in the National Park System. Redesignating the site as a National Historical Park will help to attract more visitors to Salem and allow the National Park Service to more easily obtain funding for exhibits and signage.
