BILLERICA -- U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton hosted his Congress on Your Corner event at Billerica Town Hall Thursday afternoon to listen to residents' most pressing concerns.
In the Maurice A. Buck Auditorium, Moulton first told attendees his priorities as a congressman, which included economic development in the districts he represents, challenging the threat of ISIS on a national level and assuring quality health care for veterans.

As the Tea Party movement gained steam in the summer of 2009, Congressional Democrats saw waves of fed up constituents back in their home districts flock to town hall events to vent their frustrations with the workings of Washington, D.C. The uprisings ultimately led politicians to rethink such events and back away from facing the people they represent in that particular format.

LYNN — Five months ago, Jay Ash, state Secretary of Housing and Economic Development, joined Gov. Charlie Baker and Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy on the steps of City Hall and vowed to deliver on the city’s long-awaited transformation.
Today, Ash is meeting with a group of local, state and federal officials to review progress on their partnership. Their mission is to find resources that can revitalize the city and spur development on vacant and underused parcels, including the city’s waterfront.

\SALEM — Congressman Seth Moulton Thursday announced two federal grants to two local community health centers to provide expanded addiction treatment on the North Shore and Cape Ann.
\“You are on the front lines battling the opioid addiction crisis, which is hitting our community hard, but hitting communities across the country,” said Moulton, speaking to a packed small conference room on the first floor of Salem Family Health Center on Congress Street.

Congressman Seth Moulton on Thursday announced more than $677,000 in two federal grants to two community health centers on the front lines of the opioid epidemic crisis, something Moulton said should be treated as a health crisis in America. North Shore Community Health Center received $352,083 and Lynn Community Health Center got $325,000 to expand treatment services for those addicted to opioids on the North Shore and Cape Ann amid an "unprecedented demand" for addiction treatment services.
LYNN — Community health centers are on the front lines for battling opioid addiction, an issue that has become a public health crisis.
On Thursday, U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton said the Lynn Community Health Center received a $325,000 grant to expand narcotics dependence treatment services. The Massachusetts Democrat delivered the good news at Salem’s North Shore Community Center, which received $352,083. The center also has locations in Gloucester and Peabody.
