Salem, Mass.— Representative Seth Moulton (MA-06) will host a town hall this Saturday at the Danvers Senior Center.

“One of my most fundamental duties as a Member of Congress is being accessible and accountable to the people I represent,” Rep. Moulton said. “I’m looking forward to hearing about what matters most to our community at Saturday’s town hall in Danvers.”

Vito Giacalone’s family has been doing this for a long time. His grandpa was a fisherman, first in Sicily and then in Gloucester. His dad was a fisherman right out of high school. His seven uncles all fished, too. They all told Vito the stories of their trade — that Gloucester fishermen are the best around, make their own nets, and fish in any weather.

I grieve with the families of those in New Zealand who were murdered while practicing a fundamental human right--the freedom of religion. We stand together to condemn this horrendous act, which serves as a stark reminder that terrorism and hate still threaten communities worldwide.”

WASHINGTON – Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed a major gun safety bill for the first time since 1994. Representative Seth Moulton (MA-06) is an original co-sponsor of the The Bipartisan Background Checks Act (H.R. 8), which would require background checks for the most common ways Americans buy guns.

WASHINGTON – Today, the House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Natural Resources Management Act, which Outside Magazine has called “the most wide-reaching and important public lands legislation passed since the 1970s.” The Act includes text of a bill Representative Seth Moulton, former Representative Niki Tsongas and Senator Ed Markey championed to increase the amount of money the Essex National Heritage Area can receive from Congress over the program’s lifetime. The Senate passed its version of the bill earlier this month. It is widely expected to become law.
