H.R. 7217 - Making emergency supplemental appropriations to respond to the attacks in Israel for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024 and for other purposes
Today I voted against H.R. 7217, a standalone bill that would provide additional military aid to Israel, for three reasons:
Congressman Moulton made the following statement after the U.S. launched 85 airstrikes at Iranian targets in Iraq and Syria in response to Iranian-backed attacks in northeastern Jordan that killed three U.S. service members last week.
It is good to see President Biden taking decisive action against Iranian-backed militias. So far this looks smart and strategic.

H.R. 5585 – Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) issued the following response to the preliminary ruling from the International Court of Justice:
"While I do not support South Africa’s case alleging that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, I agree with this core principle, which the ICJ highlighted in its interim ruling: Israel must do everything it can to prevent the mass killing of innocent civilians in this conflict.
