Peabody, MA – Today, Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced new federal funding to prevent and reduce substance abuse among young people in northeast Massachusetts. In total, the Office of National Drug Control Policy released $725,000 in Drug Free Communities funding to five local, community-based organizations, including the Healthy Peabody Collaborative, the Healthy Gloucester Collaborative, the Reading Coalition Against Substance Abuse, DanversCares, and the Wakefield Unified Prevention Coalition.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced his support for the Equality Act, new legislation to ban discrimination against LGBT individuals in public accommodations, housing, employment, and other areas of public life. Moulton, a long-time champion of LGBT rights, joined more than 140 Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in cosponsoring the legislation.

Peabody, MA – Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) today announced the “Congress on Your Corner” tour, a series of five public events throughout Massachusetts’ Sixth District during the month of August. The tour is part of Moulton’s effort to increase access to the constituent services his office provides. During the events, residents of the Sixth District will have the opportunity to speak directly with Moulton, ask questions, and share their views. Congressman Moulton’s staff will also be available to help solve problems for constituents at federal agencies.

Peabody, MA – Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced today he sent a letter to federal regulators expressing concerns with a proposed expansion of the Northeast Fishery Observer Program to cover the Massachusetts lobster industry. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey and Congressmen William Keating and Stephen F. Lynch joined Moulton on the letter to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

WASHINGTON — Representative Seth Moulton announced Saturday that he would support the Iranian nuclear agreement, offering a potentially key Democratic voice to one of the most important — and controversial — foreign policy debates in more than a decade.

Moulton, a former Marine who served four tours in Iraq, has been among the Democrats targeted by the White House in a lobbying campaign that so far has led to only a handful of public supporters.

LYNN — Lynn has the potential to sprout “biotech clusters,” U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton said Friday, but those new business opportunities similar to ones taking shape in Gloucester must be guided by a defined city vision.

“Lynn needs to figure out, ‘what is the business plan — what is the key business we want to bring to Lynn,’” Moulton told 50 Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce members gathered at The Porthole Restaurant.
