Salem, Mass. — Today, Representative Seth Moulton announced that the Department of Health and Human Services is awarding the North Shore Community Health Center with $3,086,000 worth of critical funding through the federal American Rescue Plan Act. 

This relief is expected to help the clinic manage the continued response to the coronavirus pandemic as it continues efforts to distribute vaccines and care for sick patients.

SALEM, Mass.— Today, Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced he has introduced the Sewage Treatment Overflow Prevention through Community Sanitation Outreach (STOP CSO) Act. 

The STOP CSO Act would require local governments to alert residents within four hours if stormwater overwhelms sewage plants and carries sewage into rivers and watersheds. The bill also allows state and local governments to use grant funding to create the alert system.

SALEM, Mass. — Representative Seth Moulton and Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll today announced the City of Salem has secured a $662,922 federal Economic Development Administration grant that will help the city recover from the coronavirus pandemic. The city will use the grant to fund technical assistance for small businesses in the tourism industry, to create a visitor marketing campaign, and to host alternative events programming.

Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH) with House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Gregory Meeks (D-NY) and Ranking Member Michael McCaul (R-TX) sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken calling on the United States government to elevate human rights in the U.S.-Turkey relationship to address the troubling human rights abuses taking place under Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. WASHINGTON — Today, during National Eating Disorder Awareness Week, Representatives Seth Moulton (D-MA), John Katko (R-NY) and Veronica Escobar (D-TX) introduced the Supporting Eating Disorders Recovery through Vital Expansion (SERVE) Act. If passed, the bill would ensure TRICARE, the military’s health insurance program, provides members of the military and their families with comprehensive treatment for eating disorders.
