Moulton Statement on Teachers Strike in Andover

ANDOVER, MA – Congressman Moulton released the following statement amidst the ongoing teachers strike in Andover: 

 “Massachusetts continually ranks #1 in public education nationally and our teachers are central to that excellence. A fair contract with strong wages and benefits will attract and retain the best teachers, and our children deserve the best. Both sides need to come to the table in good faith to resolve this as soon as possible because the most important thing is that our kids remain in school and learning.”
