Moulton on Homeland Security Appropriations Bill for FY26: "No more blank checks for an agency that murdered a mother of three and laughed about it."
January 21, 2026
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-06) issued the following statement regarding the Fiscal Year 2026 Homeland Security appropriations bill that will be brought up for a vote on Thursday.
"American taxpayers choose healthcare for their families over getting gunned down by ICE on our streets. That’s why I refuse to fund ICE and am voting No on the Homeland Security appropriations bill. No more blank checks for an agency that murdered a mother of three and laughed about it. ICE’s thugs are an embarrassment to America and to the members of our law enforcement who follow the law and actually do the hard work of keeping Americans safe every day, rather than murder us like ICE did in Minneapolis."
