Wicked Local: Marblehead UUS Canvas for Gun Reform, More Love in the World

Members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead held an hour-long candlelight vigil Sunday night a week after the Orlando massacre, but they first held signs outside the Community Center calling for gun-control legislation in the United States and peace and love in the world.

Many also praised US Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Salem) for walking out of a Republican-led moment of silence last week. It was a protest against what he sees as a routine reaction among conservatives 'instead of holding a vote on gun reform in the wake of another horrific mass shooting.'\
