Fresh thoughts on the North-South link\
U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton says many of his constituents in the 6th District don’t know much about the Shore Shore. And that’s because “you can’t get there from here.” The Salem Democrat offered the comment while making the case recently for a rail link between Boston’s North and South stations. But building another tunnel beneath downtown Boston is ambitious and promises to be very expensive. But Moulton rightly points out that if the Baker administration truly wants to improve the transit system and make better use of South Station, it ought to at least consider the idea of linking the 1899 landmark near the waterfront with the train terminal at the northern end of downtown Boston.
