Lowell Sun: At Bedford VA, a New Place That Feels Like Home for Veterans

Thanks to governmental agencies and private donors veterans have been able to turn their lives around. They're now living at Bedford Green, a community of 69 apartment homes at the Bedford VA's Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Medical Center. The furnished one-bedroom apartments offer permanent, supportive housing for homeless veterans and those at-risk of homelessness, 55 years and older.
"Our veterans deserve the best care in the world, period," said Dennis Magnasco, district representative and veterans liaison for U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton.\
In a statement, Moulton said he hopes other VA hospitals follow Bedford's lead.
