Boston Herald: House Dems Stage Sit-In, Urge Pols to ‘answer the call’ on Guns

WASHINGTON — Democratic House members staged a sit-in yesterday to dramatically press their demand for votes on gun restrictions before next week’s break, drawing a rebuke from House Speaker Paul Ryan, who called it “nothing more than a publicity stunt.”

"It’s frustrating because the Republican leadership doesn’t even want to bring it to a vote, even though there are a lot of Republicans that I am working with right now on bills to try to get some reasonable things passed that the majority of Americans agree with," Massachusetts U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton said as the sit-in began.”
