Moulton Warns Administration about Misinformation on Coronavirus, Asks CDC for Update on Test Kits and Preparations, and Emails Entire Constituency with Information to Stay Informed
WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Seth Moulton issued a warning to the multiple Trump Administration officials in charge of the government’s response to the spread of coronavirus: Stick to the facts and the science when informing the public about the United States government’s preparations and response.
He also asked the CDC for information about the test kits it is producing to detect the virus. News reports earlier this week indicated a problem with one ingredient in the test kits was slowing the production and distribution of them to states.
In addition to the letter, Moulton sent an email to the more than 700,000 constituents he represents with steps the public can take to stay informed about the virus. The email is available here.
