Moulton Encourages Students to Pursue Service Academy Nominations
Salem, Mass. — Today, the Office of Congressman Seth Moulton (D-MA) announced that they are accepting applications to U.S. service academies through November 1st. Every Member of Congress has the ability to nominate students within their congressional district to attend a service academy. Moulton, a Marine who served in Iraq, annually nominates up to 10 candidates for vacant slots allocated to the district.
"Serving as an officer in the Marines was one of the hardest and best decisions I've ever made. The leadership experience you will gain from attending a service academy and serving our country will last you a lifetime. If you’re interested, I encourage you to learn more and apply." Moulton said.
For interested students, Rep Moulton and his office will be hosting a service academy night or virtual information session on October 18th at 6pm (EST). To register, visit this link. For more information, or questions about the application process contact Isis Patterson in Rep. Moulton’s Salem office by emailing Isis.Patterson@mail.house.gov
